How to How To Optimize Business Performance and Operating Results

ABSTRACT:

Every business owner, executive or manager is aware of at least one part of their organization that never seems to meet performance goals.  With time and budget constraints, the plan to address these problem areas is always deferred, and the issues continue year after year.  There is no simple solution, because the organizational environment introduces several factors into the equation:  your people, the work process, the tools available, such as technology, and the work environment itself.

This presentation will explore the major factors that affect poor performance, how they can be identified and resolved, and how to prevent their re-occurence, and how to optimize the new environment.

How to Select, Manage and Contract Consultants and Other Resources.

ABSTRACT:

Many organizations require the assistance of consultants and other specialists when confronted with critical business issues. They must be able to construct a contract equitable to both parties, and manage the consulting team when they arrive on-site.

The purpose of this presentation is to educate the manager in the process of securing consultants and other contracted resources. Major topics include search and selection, the content of a contract, staffing, fee negotiations, performance agreements and project control.
